Delhi ‘s DATE with BOMBS
The bomb blasts in the markets of capital was horrifying.. My friend who is 7 months pregnant went to Sarojini mkt on the fateful day with her husband.
She was on the blast site but had a miraculous escape as she moved to a public toilet to attend nature’s call, one minute after that, the bomb scattered many dreams and lives. The toilet glass panes came down. She had a severe shock ,went thru medical tests to recover. But she was witness to another pregnant lady being thrown up who she came to know had burnt legs and in her tests the foetus was found to be have undergone shocks .
Delhi is not new to bomb culture….It used to be a routine affair during Punjab problem ….Even now threats of terrorists' outfits looms large during Republic Day and Independence Day.It is a sad reminder of terrorism taking innocent lives...When there is an attack like this in India ...World (esp Western world )seems to take things for granted ..whereas when it strikes them ....then loss of human lives becomes a big issue...She was on the blast site but had a miraculous escape as she moved to a public toilet to attend nature’s call, one minute after that, the bomb scattered many dreams and lives. The toilet glass panes came down. She had a severe shock ,went thru medical tests to recover. But she was witness to another pregnant lady being thrown up who she came to know had burnt legs and in her tests the foetus was found to be have undergone shocks .
Is the value of human life is cheaper in a developing country than that of developed nation?

The blasts are sad. That your friend was lucky is good news, but I really felt sad when I was watching related news. They are even delaying compensation to the victims and waiting for the results of the DNA tests. About, the developed countries..they have always have had double standards in their policies.
Scary and sad to read about all this.!!
I am happy for your friend and pray to god for all the people who've been directly / indirectly affected by such stupid acts.!
It is high time the government takes maximum precautions and makes Delhi safe. Security has to be beefed up..
Even in this tough time, good to know about ur friend's escape.
I had written a post on the blasts a few days ago.
Its sad and an act of cowardice. My high school lost its secretary in this tragic incident ..
Damn...When will all this come to an end???
Each country has its own problems. First of all thank God your friend is alive.
I am pretty sure that if it was one of those Developed countries that had underwent these kind of bombings it wud be another Iraq war.
But this is Insane, Shouldnt our nation's capital be a better sophisticated , safe/protect place to live in? we have attack treats each each is the governemnt taking any precations to control and stop it? Is our nations Intelligence good enough?
The answer is but a shamefull..No
NANYAAR?
this is bad ..scary at times ..especially peace initiations are on :-(
It is really sad to hear the
plight of the people who have
suffered during the Delhi bomb
blasts.
Hope the security level is raised
high among all the major cities
in India to avoid further such
blasts.
